User profile management

System Admin experiences are not the sexiest projects. However, they are an unfortunate necessity in enterprise applications all over the world. As such, they need to be user friendly too.

Overview of my role at Visier

Senior UX Designer

At Visier, I was a part of the UX team supporting Platform Services. Our team handled the experiences ranging from data management to user and profile administration.

Specifically, my manager hired me to assist in maturing the design practice for our small team.

    • Relationship-building across disciplines.

    • Worked with technical teams to ensure the cohort designs were implemented in the best possible way.

    • Presented designs to stakeholders when required.

    • Developed a and helped to maintain a UX kanban board that had not been used by the design team until I arrived.

    • Proposed regular usability testing cadence to ensure we had adequate feedback loops.

    • Mentored less experienced designers and provided feedback on work.

    • Whiteboard sketching

    • User flow diagrams

    • Wireframes

    • Interaction design

User profile management enhancements

This following initiative is only a small part of the larger post-purchase customer journey. The feature was an important one to the company, and needed to be designed and implemented well.

The problem to be solved

The existing admin pages for organization administrators was missing essential functionality and was quite cumbersome to use.
